GROUP ASSIGMENT

GREEN ENVIRONMENT...

1.Imagine you are a part of a big orchard with a lot of trees around. How do feel being cut?

a) If I was surrounded by plants and other plants, then I cut, my life and habitat and other vegetation will be lost. In addition, ecosystems and biodiversity, we also destroyed. Destroy the soil nutrient distribution.

-Many species of fauna and flora threatened with extinction as a result of excessive logging. When forests are destroyed, we function as a plant or tree as the main producer will also be destroyed. Wildlife that depend on us will lose sources of food. Overall ecological disruption will occur when forests are destroyed.

b) Destroy the soil nutrient distribution .

-the impact of logging activities will also destroy the circulation of nutrients in the soil. In the natural circulation of nutrients will occur. However, in case of deforestation, and soil nutrient chain would quickly disappear as the surface water runoff increases sharply in the forests bare. The process of photosynthesis will also be disturbed thereby destroying the nutrient circulation.

2. What will happen to all the animals which were taking shelter on you ?
The animals depend on plants for survival. for example, in the desert sahara.Hanya few live plants in the desert, so there are only a small number of animals when compared to areas with more humid in the world. The temperature of the heat during the day and cold at night, determine the nature of the animals. When the day is hot, most of the animals hiding in an underground excavation cooler and more humid. Most of the animals in the Sahara in search of food at night. However, these animals will return to seek refuge in the excavation of the cold before dawn. Fennec foxes leave koroknya to hunt beetles and rodents as soon as the sun sets. Animal body consists of water required by the Fennec fox. As a dark environment, Fennec foxes rely more on hearing than vision. These animals have large ears that can capture the sound at night to help him stalk the enemy. This ear also helps cool the body during the day when the heat is lost via a wide surface area. So if Poco-felled trees animals will be difficult to find a place to stay and likely animals will become extinct. Not only in the food chain complex balance to operate in the desert. Overall condition of the natural environment is fragile. Although the environment can react to changes, but it takes a very long time.

3. What would be the surroundings like after you are cut?

-Human endeavor after progress and improvement in standard of living, economic activities and development projects. But they often ignore the environmental problems arising from the destruction of our habitat as natural vegetation. After we destroyed, there was a negative effect due to the process of development and modernization rush to more pressing and the resultant effects of pollution. All these negative effects increasingly threaten human health, economic resources and the survival of the earth.

-Pollution can be defined as removal of objects or materials that are the result of human activities on the environment caused  interference Pollution comfort or survival life.Definition more information that the contamination was no change either directly or indirectly to the physical properties, chemical, biological or radiation levels of any part of the environment by releasing, removing or putting waste to affect or potentially hazardous to health, safety or welfare of the public or other organisms, plants and animals.contamination can be categorized and listed the various form of environmental pollution.

4. What change will take place in environment after you cut ?
1. Humans are cutting down forests for various purposes such as logging, road construction, settlement, mining, and agriculture.
2. This activity will expose the surface to water erosion.
3. When there is heavy rainfall, lack of grip and cover the tree roots will weaken the soil structure. This situation will accelerate the erosion process.
4. Eroded land will be taken by the flow of rainwater and deposited in rivers. As a result the shallow river bed and flood-prone during heavy rains.
5. This eroded materials will cause water pollution can threaten aquatic life.
6. Felling of trees done actively in the logging has caused the extinction of species of precious trees. For example, cengal, dallas, Meranti, and confusion.

5. Message you would like to give to people who are cutting down trees.

- want to give orders to those who have destroyed the natural life and its habitat, must act in accordance with a healthy mind without lust just as relentless pursuit of modernity against nature. Nature is a gift from God to mankind should benefit from properly powered. Therefore, authorities should also play an important role in preserving the environment so that they are not endangered and extinct. The authorities should impose more severe penalties than the penalties and punishments are available as examples of fines and penalties for the offense to take forest produce without a fine not exceeding RM500, 000 and imprisonment of not less than one year but not more than 20 years to a fine not more than RM1 million and imprisonment of not less than five years but not exceeding 20 years or both.

-In addition, the Government must be resolute in taking action against those guilty of illegal logging and forest encroachment, it will serve as a lesson to the public to keep away from this crime. I also hope the community to assist the Government to prevent these crimes from continuing to spread to inform the Forest Department on all activities of forest encroachment and illegal logging that occurs near your housing area.

6. what do you think the use of technology in reducing and minimizing the problem?

I think, very important technology in today ..
many uses, including technology equipment, technology can be used to facilitate the replanting of vegetation.
as the hydroponic method.
a)hydroponic cultivation is a technique where the roots are considered depending on the capacity of the air and Styrofoam. Nutrition provided by pengkabutan evenly in the area of crop perakaran.Akar hanging system will absorb the nutrient solution.

b)in addition, there are also agricultural extension, called fertigation public.
-Fertigation, comes from a combination of words (fertilizer = fertilizer + irrigation = irrigation), this system is to channel the necessary nutrient solution by plants using a pump or gravity of the nutrient solution tank to the crops grown in polybags inert materials such as bran baked rice, cocoa peat and coconut fiber as a medium.

c)Benefits of Crop Fertigation SYSTEMS

Enlargement of tree-uniform due to the provision of fertilizers according to the organization and as a result of higher plants.
-Provision of fertilizer because fertilizer is not wasted, given in the root zone is needed.

-Plants can be programmed according to season and place.
-Cost of operation and methods of weeding and pesticide poisoning can be reduced and controlled.
-No need for heavy energy and environment clean and beautiful plants and beautiful.
High-revenue and higher income for selected crops are planted.
-Can be grown year-round and rapid return of capital
-resistant plant bacterial disease that petted from the soil as plants grown in polybeg.

7. In your opinion blog is Able to stimulate environmental awareness Among community. elaborate.

-in my opinion, a blog can bring awareness to the community by creating a special blog about the importance of the environment. so, people who have blogs to find out more easily.

Ella Enchanted

Ella Enchanted is a American romantic-comedy film loosely based on Gail Carson Levine's 1997 novel of the same name. The film stars Anne Hathaway as Ella and Hugh Dancy as Prince Charmont. It plays with the usual fairy-tale genre. It was released in North America on April 9, 2004 and in the UK on December 17, 2004.

The films tell the In the kingdom of Frell, baby Ella (Anne Hathaway) is given the "gift of obedience" by her fairy godmother, Lucinda (Vivica A. Fox). This turns out to be more of a curse, making Ella do anything she is told to do, no matter how terrible or physically impossible. Some years later, Ella's mother dies after instructing Ella to tell no one of the curse, not even her father. Eventually Ella's father (Patrick Bergin), in need of money, remarries a wealthy socialite. His greedy new wife, Dame Olga (Joanna Lumley), and her two spoiled daughters Hattie (Lucy Punch) and Olive (Jennifer Higham) treat Ella poorly. They eventually realize Ella's obedience to commands, and begin making her life miserable.
Ella, now a young woman, happens to meet Prince Charmont (Hugh Dancy), the young, attractive, and very popular heir to the kingdom; they like each other, but Hattie and Olive decide to pursue "Char" themselves. Ella cannot bear to live under the obedience spell and Hattie's jealousy a moment longer, so she resolves to find Lucinda, the only one who can remove the spell. Mandy (Minnie Driver), the household fairy and the only other person who knows of the curse, introduces her boyfriend to Ella; he is in the form of a book but can help Ella by showing things such as pictures of people in their current surroundings. During her journey, Ella encounters an elf named Slannen (Aidan McArdle), who wants to be a lawyer instead of an entertainer as the kingdom's laws now require. Slannen joins Ella on her quest, but they are captured by a group of ogres, who prepare to cook and eat them. They are rescued by Prince Charmont. He then accompanies her to a wedding in the land of giants, where Ella hopes to find Lucinda. As they make their way there, the prince and Ella begin to fall in love. They pass a plantation where giants are working as slaves, and Ella tries to open Char's eyes to the cruelty of the new laws oppressing elves and giants. There, Ella is forced to perform a rendition of Queen's "Somebody to Love". Char then suggests that Ella should come with him to his palace to visit the Hall of Records and track down Lucinda faster.
At the palace, Charmont's uncle, Sir Edgar (Cary Elwes), has Ella's "gift" called to his attention by his talking snake, Heston (voiced by Steve Coogan), who has been spying on the prince. When Edgar offers them Char's hand in marriage, Ella's stepsisters explain that she does everything she is told. Edgar knows that Prince Charmont intends to propose marriage to Ella, and he orders her to stab him to death and not to tell anyone of the plan. Sir Edgar also reveals that he murdered Prince Charmont's father. To prevent the murder of Char, Ella asks Slannen to tie her to a tree outside the city and to find the giants so they can help. Lucinda now appears before Ella, who asks her to undo the "gift" of obedience. Offended by the request, Lucinda refuses, saying that if Ella no longer wants the spell, she must remove it herself. She unties Ella from the tree and gives her a fancy dress to attend the ball in. When Ella gets to the ball, Charmont almost immediately takes her to the Hall of Mirrors and asks her to marry him. Ella is about to stab him with the dagger Edgar provided, when she realizes how to free herself from the curse: looking into a mirror, she orders herself to no longer be obedient. This saves Prince Charmont from his uncle's treachery. But Edgar is watching the entire scene behind a one-way mirror, and before Ella can explain to Char why she tried to kill him, he orders the guards in, to lock her up and have her executed in a few days.
Meanwhile, Slannen gets the giants, and the ogres come to help as well. They sneak into the castle just before the coronation. They rescue Ella and find out that Sir Edgar is poisoning the crown that is to be put on Char's head in the ceremony. When the crown is just inches above his head, Ella barges in along with Slannen and the ogres and screams, "Drop that crown!" Edgar and Heston call for knights and the ninja-like Red Guards, and they all battle in the hall against Prince Char, Ella, the ogres, the giants, and Slannen. During the fight, Ella has time to explain to Char everything that has happened. When Sir Edgar's forces lose the battle, Heston tries to bite Char, but is stopped by Ella and trampled by members of Char's fan club. This shows that Ella was telling the truth, and Edgar admits everything to the assembled crowd, saying it was justified because he is the only one fit to wear the crown. Then, carried away by his own rhetoric, he puts it dramatically on his own head, and promptly collapses from the poison, although he survives.
Char and Ella kiss; her stepsisters arrive and order her to stop, and she is delighted to refuse. Char now asks Ella again to marry him, and she agrees. The movie ends with their wedding and a musical number.
